SONG WRITERS SESSIONS SHOWCASE - Feat Josh Heath, Beck Fielding & the safety of life at sea

Come along to our Song writer’s SHOWCASE, featuring local up and coming artists every month!

This month we've got a massive lineup!

Josh Heath -  is a performer who has grown up in the milieu of the Bunker Tuesday nights.  He arrived 3 years ago with bag of raw talent and a desire.  He is now a multi-instrumentalist fronting a 3 piece group with a totally refreshing approach.  His songs are haunting, sometimes daunting and always a surprise.

Beck Fielding  is  a powerful performer who has the substance of ADELE, the guts and originality of a “lounge” AMY WINEHOUSE, the vocal versatility and mood of NORAH JONES and the power to deliver a song like MELISSA ETHERIDGE. Beck permeates your mood with such a presence in her voice it is impossible to ignore.

The Safety of Life at Sea formed in 2011 in Sydney.  Foxy’s Farm  follows their self-titled debut released in 2013. Initial recording sessions for Foxy’s Farm  took place in April 2013 in a friend’s barn in picturesque St Albans, NSW. The guiding approach to production was to try to capture the band playing live and all together in the same room – the plan was to then overdub at a later stage with any finishing touches, in the style of the classic albums they love, such as the Beatles’  Let it Be , or the Rolling Stones’  Exile on Main St.
